River City Roots Festival
Located in downtown Missoula every September, this is a festival that celebrates all things Missoula. From local craft fairs, food trucks and music on every corner, the street shut down for outdoor street performances. This is a must-see weekend in Missoula where the community comes together to celebrate our roots in culture, nature, and each other.
Travelers’ Rest Fest
This all ages festival is a 2 day music celebration amongst the beautiful rolling backdrop of Missoula’s mountains. Held at Big Sky Brewing Company’s outdoor amphitheatre, the festival has featured names like the Decemberists, Shakey Graves, Belle & Sebastian, and The Head and the Heart, to name a few.
Bob Marshall Music Festival
Located in nearby Seeley Lake, this festival features an ultra marathon trail race among other distances, paddleboard races, mountain bike competitions, a beer garden, on site camping and three days of music, the Bob Marshall Music Festival is basically the ultimate Montana weekend.
